Sony Using ... MP3?

September 23, 2004 - 11:51am

I don’t enjoy abusing the phrase “hell froze over” but so many things lately require it. Case in point: Sony is planning on making a music player that doesn’t use ATRAC3 but, instead, uses an industry standard (a first for them!) which means they’ll be compatible with other companies (another first!). I’m in shock. Almost as much shock as when Apple went VGA.
